Hello again!!
So as you will possibly know due to my instagram and other posts here, I have been doing lots and lots of drawing lately.
I thought I would launch a bit of a theme this month for all things visual arts as well as illustrations and drawings.Presenting......All Things Art for April!!!
What's an even more exciting part of April, it's finally school holidays. I think I'm just going to go sailing all holidays, but don't worry I'll put aside some time for you!
So today to launch the month (slightly 6 days late!), I'm going to share some of my art that I have been doing lately. I've put this all together of doodles on my maths book as well as from my past and current sketchbooks. It is just lots of my favourites that maybe I might put up for sale as prints in my shop (launching later this year)
as well as my cartoon black line drawings I am also enjoying getting into abstract art more. The geometric design is done with bic mark it permanent markers and the brushstrokes are done with a small cheap watercolour pan set from Reeves.
This page was a little experimental page but turned into a beautiful page about 'home' - its very inspired by Flora Waycott
So I hope you will enjoy this months little theme. in may we will be back to room decor and crafts! I haven't done a craft for ages.
Next week (should be around Fridayish) I shall post the second art post. Spoiler Alert: Finding your drawing style
xx harri
P.S. I'll definitely be doing 'reader creations' throughout the month. its a big month focused on you!!
