Room Tour // Desk + Workspace


When we moved house last year I didn't re decorate my room for a while. When I started blogging, I got jealous of all those Pinterest perfect bedrooms and workspaces. I knew I wanted to create my own style that was Pinterest worthy to me. So I gave my room about 10 makeovers, each time a little bit more me. And now starting with my desk + workspace area, I have come to a final style (for now) that I love!




My desk space is in a corner of my room where it is built in. Sometimes it is a bit small and one day I might buy a trestle table, but for now I'm working with what I have! I have a Kikki-k Magnet board and lots of mini storage solutions to make my area work. I also have lots of storage on my little trolley at the other end of my room. But I will share that in the new year!



I keep my every growing collection of Frankies + Yens in the corner along with my journals, sitcker DIY books and of course a Kikki-k Catalogue.




I used leftovers and things that didn't match from my inspiration wall to create a little clothesline across my magnet board. The rest of the things are either quote cards from Kikki-K and print offs from my 'Illustrations' board on Pinterest. I also got the beautiful leaf gift tag and dog card from my Mum (sorry not sure where from though).




As you can see, Kikki-k rules this area with their cute range and note papers. I also have all my stickers and scrapbooking supplies in a wooden box (behind pencil case).

I hope you enjoy these photos. Next year (so close to 2014) I'm going to share the rest of my room but for now it's quite messy!!

    Oh I am so super jealous of your desk! Mine is really small and cluttered, but you've made me want to clean it up!
